I am super excited for Christmas this year.

I’m not even sure why.  I’m normally all about Christmas and as December hits I’m excited.  But it’s November 2nd and I’m ready to like put the Christmas tree up and decorate and Christmas shop.

I’m crazy.  Maybe.  I don’t know.

My family it’s a tradition to do an ornament every year, like last year when we got our “First Christmas” ornament.  I’m not sure how I want to do ornaments this year.  I don’t know if I just want to get Devon one, do another “us” ornament, or what.  Those that do holiday traditions like that, any ideas?

We are actually going to do each other’s stockings this year too.  Our families both collectively said “no more stockings” to both of us last year, which makes sense since we’re out of those houses.  But I need to start looking for little cute, practical things to put in his stocking.

I’m getting my list all ready for Black Friday.  I still never know what to tell people to get me for Christmas though.  I should probably take a couple things off my Black Friday list.  But I have issues when people buy me gifts.  I don’t know why.  But I suck at telling people what to get me.  I’m so difficult sometimes.

But I’m super excited about Christmas this year.  I’ve started getting catalogs for Christmas in the mail.  And while I like online shopping everywhere, I love getting catalogs in the mail for the holidays.  I just sit in the living room and flip through all the pretty Christmas things.  It’s fun and relaxing and it’s better than looking online, for me.  Like I have my Crate and Barrel holiday book at home and I’ve flipped through it a couple times just browsing and getting ideas for decorating and all that fun stuff.

I have NOT started with Christmas music though….not that crazy…yet.
