Yes, I’m from Baltimore and still live near it and work in it every day.

No, I don’t really have any comment about the events of this past week or the protests/riots that happened on Saturday.

I could comment, but why?

This world is crazy and Baltimore got a shot of crazy in the past week or so.  I don’t like it. But it doesn’t make me love my city any less.

Only thing I will say is that, individuals do bad things, individuals make mistakes.  To punish an entire group for the acts of one or a few is unfair.  I have friends that are police officers in Maryland and I hope they remain safe.  I hope everyone despite race, gender, job title, or belief stays safe.  Not just in Baltimore, but everywhere.

I’m still proud to be a Baltimorian.  Always have been.  Always will be.
