Bridesmaids Gifts

I feel like I’m over thinking this too much.  I over think a lot of things but I feel like this is above and beyond my normal scope here.

I haven’t actually “officially” asked my bridesmaids to be in the wedding yet.  I mean, my maid of honor and mine and Devon’s friend from college already know they’re in it as maid of honor and one of my bridesmaids, but like….I haven’t actually asked.

Suddenly in the past few years it’s become this whole production to “propose” to your bridal party and I feel like that’s….a lot.  People are spending a lot of money on like “proposal” gifts and I’m over here like, “weddings are already expensive enough without that”.

But, at the same time, I want it to be slightly more special than just me coming over to their house and being all “hey, be my bridesmaid”.

So, I don’t know what to do.

I was looking at bridesmaids totes this morning because I’m thinking they would be nice for the girls to have for the wedding, too, to bring whatever they need and carry extra shoes or whatever.  I’ve found a few that I can personalize through Etsy which are cute and affordable.  Plus I can make the bags be wedding colors so that they know what our color scheme is.

And I was thinking maybe a tumbler of some kind, too.  I don’t want to do alcohol because one of my bridesmaids will only be 20 at our wedding.

But, like, do I need to do anything else?  I NEED HELP! Help me.
