We know that I have yet to put a desk in our home office. Devon brought his desk over from our apartment but mine was too small and not functional for me, so I got rid of it. And have yet to replace it.

But, working from home, it’s time to change that. I’ve been working in our basement or on the dining table and while it’s okay, I want a place that’s functional, where I can leave everything out and open and not feel like it’s all over the place like I do now.

On my desk search, I found so many great affordable options in so many different styles and sizes. Most retailers are even having sales on home office furniture and decor in an effort to help people save on creating their new working spaces.

With the exception of a couple of pieces, every desk I found is well under $150 (most are under $100) so you don’t have to spend a lot of money to create a dedicated work from home area. I also found a couple cute options for people with limited space. These desks would be great for working from home and could also function as a simple table when we all finally get back to our offices.

In all of the searching, I did wind up choosing this desk:

It has the huge table space that I typically need to spread everything out and it matches the wood grain that is already in our office with Devon’s desk and the bookshelves. Plus, it’s under $100 which makes our wallet happy. The only downside is that the shipping time is a bit longer as Amazon is prioritizing certain purchases, which is fine. I can deal with my makeshift office for a little longer. But it will definitely be nice to have a designated space to keep everything.
