I get extremely amused by Valentine’s Day Memes every year.  It could be because I’ve never been one of those girls that sticks a ton of sentimental value on the day itself.  I get the point of it, but I’m not one that requires this grand gesture just because the calendar says a certain day.

This year in particular, I’ve mentioned, we aren’t really doing a ton for holidays because of the wedding; I mean if I’m getting a day around the premise of eternal love, I’d rather it be my wedding day.  Plus, Devon actually starts his evening high school deal tomorrow night (which is just really bad planning on his county’s part), so he will be working late.  I also have to work a bit late tomorrow and then I have a bunch of things I need to get done when I leave, so even if we wanted to celebrate it…it’s a Wednesday…that’s just not gonna happen.

But I do enjoy memes…a lot.  And for some reason Valentine’s Day ones are just amazing. I don’t know why; it’s not like I’m super cynical about the day or anything (more apathetic than cynical) but they just give me a really good laugh.
