The best french toast ever created!
In a bowl, combine all ingredients (except bread) in a medium bowl and whisk together to fully beat eggs and combine spices.
Heat a griddle pan to medium low with 1 teaspoon of butter (or you can use bacon fat as I usually do) until it's gently bubbling.
Soak bread in the batter allowing it to rest in the batter for at least 2 minutes then transfer to griddle pan.
Cook the bread 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown on each side and cooked through.
Serve with your choice of accompaniments and sides. We usually just keep it simple with some maple syrup and bacon. Enjoy!
