Farmacy Dew It All Total Eye Cream

If you’ve met me, you know that I have a pretty heavy disdain for my under eye area.

For most of my life, I thought I’d inherited some relatives trait of puffiness under my eyes because, for as long as I can remember, I am someone who looks like they need a lot more sleep than they are getting.  But, my undereye wasn’t puffy in the traditional sense.  I couldn’t describe it.

My makeup artist from my wedding finally explained it to me:  It’s not puffiness, I have deep-set eyes.  At least not all of it.  What I’m really seeing is more of a divet behind my bone and into my eye socket, which won’t really ever go away.

Unless I decide to break a bone, which isn’t really my goal in life.

Knowing that has changed the way I take care of my eyes and changed my expectations on what I want eye products to do.  I’ve always wanted to find some magical concoction that would allow me to have this almost airbrushed look; no lines, wrinkles, darkness, puffiness, weirdness under my eye.

But now I know, that’s not really possible.

I can alleviate the lines and wrinkles and work on more sleep for the circles and small bags, but that divet will remain and that’s okay with me (mostly).

The signs of aging are what has brought me to this Dew It All Total Eye Cream from Farmacy.

I actually got this jar in my FabFitFun box this past fall and I didn’t use it right away for no particular reason, but I actually wish I had used it sooner.

This is a cream you could use morning and night, however, I just use it as part of my morning skin routine.

Once I’ve cleansed my face, I take a small dab, like the size of a tic-tac (or even a little less), on my middle finger.  Then I rub my two middle fingers together to warm up the product a little and distribute it to both fingers and then apply it to my eyes.

I use this all over my eyes; under them, around where crows feet would rest, on my eyelids, inner corners; all over.  I don’t pull the skin around my eyes, but I do a nice circular motion around my entire eye area for about 30 seconds while I’m applying.  I feel like that helps the product absorb into the skin and it helps to massage the area a bit as well, which can help with any puffiness you might be experiencing.

I swear, my under eye area has never looked better.

I don’t think I’ve had a big issue with crows feet or anything like that yet, but I was starting to notice a couple fine laugh lines under my eyes starting to pop up.  This cream has really helped make those lines less noticeable which is exactly what I wanted.

I like that this cream doesn’t make my skin feel tight, but it does feel taut if that makes any sense.  I can move my face and my cheeks and smile without feeling stiff, but if I run my finger over my undereye, it feels smooth and hydrated.

I am usually pretty skeptical of products that claim to do “everything”.  Like this product claims to brighten, hydrate, smooth, de-puff, and fight all signs of again.  While it does a lot of this, I will say for me, it doesn’t really brighten, I don’t think, but my concealer does a good job of that for me, so I’m not mad about it.

But, it definitely de-puffs, hydrates and smooths, which is ultimately most important to me.

If you are looking for a new eye cream, this might be a good one to try.  It has a lot of natural ingredients, which I know is very sought after these days, and it’s pretty affordable.  The jar I have is $38, and it’s a pretty decent sized jar considering you only need a tiny bit of it a day.

I can see me re-purchasing this when I run out of it and I cannot suggest it enough if you are looking for a new eye cream.

If you do decide to try it, come back and let me know how you like it!
