Spring Fashion Trend That I Love

You all know, I’m not really one that follows fashion trends that often, especially ones that mean I wear things that aren’t comfortable for me.  But, for some reason, the trends for spring are touching my soul.

Yes, that sounds dramatic.  But it’s true!

Blazers, pastel colors, wide leg pants…..it all makes me so happy.

But, one of the trends making me happiest is floral print everything.  For someone who admits to not being the dressiest or girliest dresser, I do love me some floral prints.  I don’t know why, but I always have.  And I love that they are LITERALLY EVERYWHERE right now.

Because of my love of them, I wanted to share a few of my favorite pieces that I’ve found so far this season.

HM Patterned Blouse

Sizes are getting limited in this top from H&M but I love the vibrant red color for spring and love the bigger floral pattern on this as well.

HM Airy Blouse

This smocked blouse is also really cute and would be great for spring as it’s a really light, semi-sheer woven material.  Since it is semi-sheer, you’d need a cute cami or tank underneath, but this is a great option as the weather warms up.

AE Floral Lace Top

I’ve seen this lace trimmed top from American Eagle all over the internet and Instagram recently, so much so that I actually already bought this pretty off-white color and may head back for the black color.  It’s long-sleeves but super lightweight and perfect as the weather warms up.

AE Strappy Tie Front Jumpsuit

This cute jumpsuit from American Eagle would also be great to transition for spring and summer. You could easily put a denim jacket over it when it’s still a bit chilly or wear it on its own when it’s warm out.

I love all things jackets/sweaters/cardigans/wraps/etc, so it’s not a shock to most of you that I also love a good kimono.  They’re great for summer because they’re light enough to not make you feel like you’re sweltering when it’s hot but just enough to cover up when you feel the need.

Old Navy Fit and Flare Floral Dress

You all know I’m not really a dress person, but if I had to wear a dress for something, I would likely go for this comfortable cami dress from Old Navy.  It’s really budget friendly and looks like it would flatter all figures.

Love Fire Ruffle Hem Shorts

Patterned shorts typically aren’t me either, but these are really cute and I like the ruffle hem detail as well.
