UNTIL THANKSGIVING BREAK!!

I’m counting down so hard right now.  I can’t even begin to explain how much I’m looking forward to having a school break. In fact, I’m looking forward to it so much I extended it a day.

Well….kinda.

I need to see my dermatologist and “sadly” the soonest I could get an appointment was November 24th at 11:30am.  Our Thanksgiving break is 11/25-11/29. So, on the one hand, I’m all, “damn I wanted to go sooner” but then I’m all “HOLY SHIT THAT’S THE DAY BEFORE BREAK….AND WE HAVE A MASS THAT MORNING, SO HELL YEAH I’M TAKING THE DAY OFF!!”.

Having an appointment at 11:30 usually means I would come to school in the morning and leave around 10:30 (since my doc is about 45 minutes away from here).  But we have a Thanksgiving Liturgy/Mass at 9am that would end around 10:15, so it’s not like I’d be able to see students anyway.  I would essentially just be coming in for first period.  That seemed pointless when odds are I can just stay late on Monday to do whatever needs to be done and just take the whole day off.

But it’s making this week and next week seem super long.  I can’t believe it’s only Wednesday.  I’m ready for a nice long break.  It’s been so crazy at school the past couple weeks and I think most of us could use a few days of relaxation.
