Favorite Fall Accessories

It started to feel like Fall in Maryland last week! I mean…it’s kinda felt like summer again the past few days here, but I’m trying to be hopeful that we’re going to start getting into cooler temperatures, and stay in them, sooner rather than later.

Now that it finally got a little bit cooler, I wanted to share some of my favorite fall accessory finds with you.

First up is handbags! Are we surprised that this is my first and biggest favorites category? No? Good.

I love a good structured bag, especially in the fall and winter. There are a couple of smaller options, though I’m known for my oversized bags, so there are some tote sizes, as well. The cognac brown colors this season are also making me really happy. Most of these bags are great staple pieces that could easily last you years.

Scarves are also one of my favorite things. I’m not big on solid colored scarves; I’m more the “more pattern the better” person. Since I have a tendency to wear a lot of “basics” I love having scarves to bring life to an outfit. Floral scarves are also my absolute favorite; I love that they add a lot of color to an outfit and to my complexion. Us super pale people need all the help we can get!

For me, shoes need to be comfortable. Especially since I spend so much of my life in a school, running up and down stairs, going to different rooms, and all these different things. So, you will see most of my shoe choices are comfy/flats that I can run around in. I still like a cute shoe, but you aren’t likely to see me in heels….well….ever.

I also love classic jewelry, for the most part. Delicate necklaces are my jam, but I’m also all about large cocktail rings. You have to balance, right? Sadly, I’m allergic to gold, so everything you’ll ever see from me is some sort of silver metal, but I’m sure most of this has a gold counterpart if you’re a gold lover.
