*Why yes, it has been a few weeks since I actually did one of these.  As I’ve stated, life got even more insane than normal.  I don’t think I’ve had any time “off” even on weekends in almost two months.  For my happy little introverted self who relishes in a day at home to do nothing here and there, it’s been very draining.  But, I did get a nice day at home yesterday; we went nowhere for the first day in a really long time.  We put the Christmas tree up, finished the second season of Stranger Things (highly recommend) and relaxed and it was SO NICE.

*Today we have a wedding to go to for one of Devon’s best friends, Harold and his fiancee Mandi.  Harold is also in our wedding in June.  As much as we’re looking forward to going, we’re also kind of looking forward to it being over because we’ve had two weddings to work with for the past couple months and it’ll be nice to just concentrate on ours for the next 7 months.

*If you missed my Instastories on Wednesday, you missed me seeing Devon in (almost a full) tux for the first time EVER.  Devon notoriously hates suits, ties, shiny shoes, black socks, essentially everything involving a suit and has proclaimed he will never wear one unless it’s absolutely necessary.  I have known him 13 years; I’ve never seen him in a suit.  I assume the first (and only) time I’d see him in a tux was for our wedding, so him needing a groomsmen tux is like an amazing bonus for me.

We went to pick it up on Wednesday and he tried it on (since a couple other guys had issues with it fitting).  He came out of the dressing room and I had to pick my jaw up from the floor.  HE LOOKED SO HANDSOME! I not so stealthly took a couple of videos of him on IG stories when he was trying it on and he was cursing me the whole time, but I DON’T CARE.  He also “threatened” me against posting them on social media….but I don’t count this blog as social media and since I can’t figure out how to repeatedly post them to IG stories….I’m posting them here. No one is scared of his little threats.

*I have three weeks until Christmas break and then I have about two and a half weeks off.  I’m so excited, I can’t stand it.  That much time off just seems unreal since I’ve been going on overdrive since like August.  It makes me giddy.
