If you’ve been around here for any amount of time, you know I’ve been an avid fan of the FabFitFun boxes. I’ve gotten them for about a year now and I am constantly amazed at the quality of products in these boxes.
Despite talking about these boxes for almost a year, I’ve realized that I never really talk about any of the products from the box after my initial review of it. And I have determined that is unfair of me because there are some really amazing finds in these boxes. There have been a couple things I’ve been kind of “meh” about, but more often than not I am very impressed.
Like with this Juice Beauty Smoothing Eye Cream.
As you can see….it’s all gone.
If there was ever one thing I would change about my face; it would be the inherent puffiness I have under my eyes. I’m pretty sure most of it is genetic, I’ve always had them, even when I was a kid; it’s just naturally puffy under my eyes. I don’t really have a big issue with darkness so much, it’s just the puffiness.
So for me, I need an eye cream that helps to smooth and tighten that area; if it brightens a little that’s great, but it’s not required.
This felt great under my eyes. It is very hydrating without being overly oily or greasy and absorbs into your skin really easily. As it’s absorbing it tightens the eye area just enough; just enough that you can feel it if you try but not so much that you feel like you can’t blink.
And I LOVE that it’s a pump container; you all have heard me love products and hate their containers, but this one is actually great. It’s so easy to get the product out without getting it all over you or getting a lot more than you need. One pump (or even a half a pump) is all you need for both eyes. I usually just did a small pump onto my middle finger, rubbed my two middle fingers together and then used those fingers to spread the product all over each eyes. I used this under my eyes and all over my eyes and eyelids, all the way up to my eyebrow. It makes your whole eye feel really hydrated and helps tighten around your eye if you’re starting to notice any fine lines around there.
Since I know a lot of people love organic skin care; this eye cream is formulated with organic ingredients. It has a lot of nourishing oils like jojoba, sunflower, and avocado oils; as well as carrot, cucumber and Vitamin P extracts to help combat dark circles.
I have never used anything from this brand before but given how much I enjoyed this, I’d be willing to give other products a try. This has definitely been one of the best eye creams I’ve used to date.
Admittedly, I have not repurchased this…yet. That is only because around the time I was running out of it another eye treatment I’ve been eyeing (haha…get it…eyeing….) for a long time went on super sale; like 50%, which never happens, so I just started using that and want to give it a good try before purchasing another bottle of the Juice Beauty.
That being said, I would purchase this again without hesitation. I never heard of this brand before getting it in my FabFitFun box but since I got it, I’ve seen it pop up in Ulta, though I will say it varies by store whether they carry this exact product. I’ve seen a couple stores around me carry the line but not carry this product in store; but they do have it online. You can also find it on Amazon; it’s the same price as Ulta, but if you choose to do Subscribe and Save, you’ll get an additional 15% off your first order, so it would be less on Amazon, if you wanted to give it a try.
If you are looking for a new eye cream or looking to change up your routine, I’d highly recommend this one. It’s not insanely pricey like so many eye creams can be and has great natural ingredients for your delicate eye area.
Let me know if you’ve tried this or if you decide to pick up a bottle!
